I conducted a beautiful intimate ceremony for a lovely couple today. The venue was to have been Reedy Swamp Shepparton, but due to the unpredictable weather, the decision was made to hold the ceremony at the bride’s home. This was a lovely venue and the rain held off so it was held in the back yard. As I said it was an intimate wedding with just the bride and groom, their three children and two witnesses. They had a Unity Tree Ceremony within the wedding ceremony, symbolising the loving and nurturing of both the tree and the family.
It is lovely to have ceremonies involving the children, particularly in blended families to make them feel a part of it.
